for more than 250 years . From Chiprovtsi , carpet weaving has spread
to the nearby villages , where most of the women have been engaged
with it for centuries .

cotton and weft - wool , wearing for many years - the quality and
colouring on each side of the carpet do not change for more than

be loomed of wool alone . One woman can weave up to 3 square meters

as well as looms in almost every house . All the times weavers create
new models and every carpet is a unique work of art .
Beside the classical type of carpets , together with architects
and designers ( also , on the basis of computer modeling ) , new
